Hmmmm, based on how I read it, this is another example of agents not
understanding their own policies (didn't Continental mistakenly hold a
list member over in Hawaii not too long ago because they misunderstood
Indonesian visa/passport requirements?). According to the linked table
(which, admittedly isn't 100% clear) the embargo for Belize prohibits
excess bags but allows overweight bags. Each destination is different
so you need to be careful. For example, during the embargo times for
Antigua, no excess bags and no overweight bags. This is good info for
travel planning. It also looks like just one more thing we'll all have
to print out and take along with us to keep them honest -- sigh . . .
